Bikes are very popular in Davis and nobody likes doing the hand turn signals. Many college students are inexperienced and do not know how to show which direction they are going on a bike. Also, the hand turn signals are hard to see at night. Also, it is not easy to tell when a bike is slowing down or stopping at night. Having turn signal blinker lights and brake lights would solve these problems and make biking at night (and day) much safer.

The product will have three pieces: a forward-facing light which attaches to the front of the frame which attaches to the front of the frame, a rear-facing light which attaches to the seatpost, and a remote to operate lights. The lights will be synchronized. The product will also be very customizable due to the 3D printed nature of the product, and there will be different options for different features for every price point from budget to enthusiast. |
Promotion & Marketing:
We will plan to promote our business by creating ads and posting on Instagram. Hypothetically we could have a website, create ads in the enterprise, and post on Davis’s multiple online communities. We will give several sale options to gravitate customers and will offer partnerships with other bike shops to keep them (Ken’s Bike and Ski). |
